Since August 2018 Sonata Cepik has been research group assistant for the research groups "Working in highly automated digital-hybrid Processes", "Democracy and Digitalisation" and "Quantification and Social Regulation" at the Weizenbaum Institute. She performs an interface function between the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB) and the Weizenbaum Institute.
From 2010 to 2017 she studied Political Science (M.A.) at the Philipps University in Marburg and before that she trained as a foreign language secretary in English and Spanish. Her research interest lies in the history of ideas focused on the emergence and transformation of normative orders. She has organised numerous interdisciplinary and transnational workshops, lecture series for the Weizenbaum Institute as well as other research institutions.
