WI@Berlin Science Week

Every year, as part of the Berlin Science Week, the Weizenbaum Institute and its researchers present the significant and differentiated aspects of digitalization research to a broad audience.

Together with the digital research institutes Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) and Einstein Center for Digital Future (ECDF), the Weizenbaum Institute participates annually in the Berlin Science Week. This science festival brings together thousands of people from science, business, politics, art, and society in Berlin every year. The focus is on exchange and reflection to promote a deeper understanding of our world. The program is based on interactive and often interdisciplinary formats.

Through these collaborations, in addition to public lectures by scientists, there have also been film screenings and theater pop-ups on topics such as digitalization and sustainability, algorithmic discrimination, and automated decision-making processes.
