Weizenbaum Conference

The annual conference of the Weizenbaum Institute brings together experts from various disciplines and on topics such as artificial intelligence, responsibility and sustainability, or digital independence from around the world.

The Weizenbaum Conference is an international event that brings together experts from various disciplines once a year to explore the interfaces between humans and technology. Key topics include artificial intelligence, digital ethics, privacy, responsibility and sSustainability, and the social implications of technologies. The conference promotes interdisciplinary exchange and emphasizes the responsibility of scientists and businesses in handling digital technologies. Its goal is to provide a holistic view of the impact of digitalization. 

Weizenbaum Conference 2024

The 6th Weizenbaum Conference took place from 17 to 18 June 2024 on the topic: "Uncertain journeys into digital futures: Inter- and transdisciplinary research for mitigating wicked societal and environmental problems."
