Sonata Cepik (on parental leave)

Sonata Cepik has been responsible for committee management and internal communication at the Weizenbaum Institute e.V. (WI) since September 2022. In this role, Ms. Cepik oversees and coordinates the committees of the institute and internal communication within the various committees.

From 2018 to 2022, Sonata Cepik worked as a research group assistant at the Berlin Social Science Center in the Weizenbaum Institute consortium. During this time, she organized numerous interdisciplinary workshops and conferences for the Weizenbaum Institute and other research institutions, and provided administrative and substantive support to three research groups at the WI. Prior to that, Sonata Cepik worked at the Chair of Political Theory and the Portal for History of Ideas at the Institute of Political Science at Philipps-University Marburg.

In 2017, Sonata Cepik completed her Master's degree in Political Science with a focus on Political Theory at Philipps-University Marburg. Before that, she successfully completed training as a foreign language secretary in English and Spanish at Friedrich-List-Schule in Berlin.
