Members of the Institute can turn to the ombudspersons at the Weizenbaum Institute in cases of conflict and preventively for questions in the areas of good scientific practice and scientific integrity. The code to ensure good scientific practice at the Weizenbaum Institute is currently being revised. A central component of the code is the ombudsman system, which defines the ombudsman activities as well as the procedure for dealing with cases of conflict and scientific misconduct.
