Citizen Science: Education for the digital world

Our blog series in Citizen Science format provides insights into digital education in an international comparison.

Digital education and the digitalization of schools are one of the greatest challenges of the networked society. Gergana Vladova and Doris Hellmuth are researching precisely this topic in the "Education for the digital world" research group at the Weizenbaum Institute. In their work, they are in constant contact with stakeholders from business, civil society and politics. This exchange with partners outside of academia is called citizen science.

In their blog series "Citizen Science Dialogue on Education for the Digital World", they report on and discuss what the digitalization of education means in concrete terms and how digital skills can be learned - whether in maker spaces or German schools abroad.
