Prof. Dr. Philipp Hübl
Prof. Dr. Philipp Hübl is a philosopher and author of the books „Die aufgeregte Gesellschaft. Wie Emotionen unsere Moral prägen und die Polarisierung verstärken“ (2019), „Bullshit-Resistenz (2018), and „Der Untergrund des Denkens. Eine Philosophie des Unbewussten“ (2015), among others. He has published articles on political and social topics in media like ZEIT, FAZ, taz, NZZ, Welt, Deutschlandradio, Republik, Philosophie Magazin, El País, and Übermedien.
Hübl taught theoretic philosophy at RWTH Aachen university, Humboldt university, university of the arts Berlin (UDK) and he was an Associate Professor (“Juniorprofessor”) at Stuttgart University. Before that he studied philosophy and linguistics in Berlin, Berkeley, New York and Oxford. Research topics: rationality, moral psychology, philosophy of science, philosophy of mind (in particular foundations of the mind sciences).
