Jana Heim
About
Jana Heim is a research associate at the Weizenbaum Institute and the WZB Berlin Social Science Center. In her research, she explores knowledge practices in the context of datafication and automation. Her research is situated at the intersections of data and algorithm studies, organisation studies, and the sociology of digitalisation. Alongside her position at the Weizenbaum Institute, she is also a research associate in the research group Politics of Digitalization at the WZB, as well as an associated researcher in the research group Reorganization of Knowledge Practices at the Weizenbaum Institute. She holds an MA in Sociology and Technology Studies (with distinction) from Technical University of Berlin and a BA from Heidelberg University.
