Jana Heim
About
Jana Heim is a research associate at the Weizenbaum Institute and the WZB Berlin Social Science Center. Her research lies at the intersection of organization studies and science and technology studies. She conducts qualitative research on changes in knowledge practices through digital technologies and practices of evaluating machine learning systems. She received her MA (with distinction) in Sociology and Technology Studies from Technical University Berlin and her BA from University of Heidelberg. Formerly, she worked in machine learning research and development in the software sector.
