Dave Rejeski
Dave Rejeski is a Visiting Scholar at the Environmental Law Institute in Washington DC and helps lead the Network for Digital Economy and Environment, a collaborative project designed to improve our understanding of the energy and environmental impacts of digital technologies such as AI, blockchain, sharing/e-commerce platforms, and quantum computing.
For over two decades, his research has focused on the public policy and governance implications of emerging technologies, ranging from nanotechnology to synthetic biology and additive manufacturing. In addition, he has pioneered the use of video game technologies to engage the public in complex policy topics, ranging from national budget formulation to climate resilience. He worked at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, the US Environmental Protection Agency, and the Environmental Agency in Hamburg. He is a Fellow of the U.S. National Academy of Public Administration and holds Master’s degrees in Public Administration and Environmental Design from Harvard and Yale Universities.
