Designing and Funding New Research Networks

The talk covers the following aspects:

1. identifying research and funding gaps and strategies to fill these,
2. attracting funders (and eventually end users) into a new research space,
3. the role of bridging organizations in creating robust networks,
4. using pitches to attract funding (and how to create effective pitches),
5. measuring network growth.
