Prof. Dr. Jan Mendling
Jan Mendling ist Einstein-Professor für Process Science am Institut für Informatik der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Seine Forschungsinteressen umfassen verschiedene Themen im Bereich Geschäftsprozessmanagement und Informationssysteme. Er hat mehr als 450 Forschungsarbeiten und Artikel veröffentlicht, unter anderem in MIS Quarterly, ACM Transactions on Software Engineering and Methodology, IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, Journal of the Association of Information Systems und Decision Support Systems. Er ist Departmenteditor für Business & Information Systems Eingineering, Vorstandsmitglied der Österreichischen Gesellschaft für Prozessmanagement (http://prozesse.at), einer der Gründer der Berliner-Offensive (http://www.bpmb.de), Organisator vieler akademischer Veranstaltungen zum Thema Prozessmanagement und Mitglied der IEEE Task Force für Process Mining. Er ist Koautor der Lehrbücher Fundamentals of Business Process Management (http://fundamentals-of-bpm.org/) und Wirtschaftsinformatik (https://lehrbuch-wirtschaftsinformatik.org/), die in der Wirtschaftsinformatik-Ausbildung weit verbreitet sind.
