WJDS issue on ‘Practicing Sovereignty’ out now

Themed Issue 2 (2023) of the peer-reviewed Weizenbaum Journal of the Digital Society is now available open access.

 

The new issue is dedicated to the Weizenbaum Conference 2022, titled ‘Practicing Sovereignty: Interventions for Open Digital Futures.’ Contributions explore notions of digital sovereignty in tension with topics such as AI deepfakes, algorithmic governmentality, ethics and datafication in the context of machine learning, and community-driven open-access publishing in academia. Guest Editors are Daniel Irrgang and Bianca Herlo.
