Analyzing Digital Trace Data using Process Mining with Jan Mendling

To this end, we will first describe automatic analysis techniques of process mining. Then, we turn to insights that these techniques provide and how data has to be designed. For all of these steps, we point to tools that can be readily used.

Jan Mendling is the Einstein-Professor of Process Science with the Department of Computer Science at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany. He is also adjunct professor with Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria, and Principal Investigator at the Weizenbaum Institute, Berlin, Germany.
