Research Day

The Research Day offers all researchers – especially doctoral students and postdocs – a platform to present research results and project ideas to the Institute in an intimate setting.

Since the Institute’s founding, the Research Day has become one of our most successful event formats for Weizenbaum scholars. It offers all researchers the chance to present their own research, ideas, and methodology-related considerations and questions to the Institute. We organise one to two Research Days annually.

Apart from making use of open spaces, the Research Day employs several conventional formats, such as panel discussions, inviting external experts when useful. Past Research Day topics have included Being an Author and Good Scientific Practice (11/2020) as well as Interdisciplinarity in Theory and Practice (9/2021).
