André Ullrich leads the research group "Digitalization, Sustainability and Participation" at the Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society and is currently doing his habilitation on responsible and sustainable digitalization. He studied business administration with a focus on business information systems and finance & banking at the University of Potsdam and the Finance Academy Moscow. In 2018, he received his PhD on Characteristics of Changeable Systems at the University of Potsdam, where he worked as a research assistant from 2011-2017. From 2017-2018, he was employed at the Institute for Information Systems and Digital Society. From 2018-2022, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Potsdam as part of the junior research group ProMUT: Sustainability Management 4.0 - Transformative Potentials of Digitally Networked Production for People, Environment and Technology. From 2021-2022, he was an associate researcher in the research group "Education and Continuing Education in the Digital Society" at the Weizenbaum Institute. The focus of his work is in the topic area of sustainable and responsible digitalization of companies and society.
