Amélie Heldt

Former Research Fellow

Amélie Heldt is a lawyer by training and has been working as a researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research | Hans Bredow Institute (HBI) in the research program "Transformation of Public Communication" since May 2017.

Her research focuses on platform regulation, social media governance, the impact of new technologies on opinion formation and public discourse, and the exercise of fundamental rights in the context of algorithmic decision-making and autonomous systems.
