Ulrikke Dybdal Sørensen

About
Ulrikke is a Research Fellow at the Weizenbaum Institute as a part of her public industrial Ph.D. project in the Danish Ministry of Digital Affairs and at the Department of Communication and Psychology at Aalborg University. She will engage in studying information flows, means of communication, and democratic debate online, including the impact on the quality and credibility of information as foundational democratic components.
Her Ph.D. project addresses the digital democratic debate in a Danish context. Besides examining the state of public discourse, the project will also address the operationalisation of systemic risks under the Digital Services Act, including the importance of and issues with data access.
She holds a master’s degree in political science from Copenhagen University and comes from a position as research assistant at the Danish research project Algorithms, Data & Democracy, which she still is a part of during the Ph.D. project.
