Pouyan Fotouhi Tehrani
Person
Pouyan Fotouhi Tehrani studied computer engineering (technical computer science) at the University of Duisburg-Essen and completed his master's degree in computer science and sociology (as an applied subject) at the TU-Berlin. His research area is the deployment and structure of communication networks in disaster situations.
As part of his PhD at the Weizenbaum Institute, Pouyan is investigating the practicality of traditional networks for use in disaster response and developing new approaches and methods based on Information-centric Networks (ICN). In particular, the focus is on security and privacy paradigms of such systems.
