Paul Friedl is a JSD candidate and researcher at Humboldt University Berlin and an affiliate at NYU's Information Law Institute.
Paul’s research focuses on law's impacts on data and internet governance, with a special focus on the governance of AI systems.
At the Weizenbaum Institute, Paul will work on a report that summarizes the outcomes of a recent roundtable on “Large Language Models, Law and Policy” and presents a number of regulatory ideas regarding Large Language Model governance.
