About

Paria Shariati joined the Weizenbaum-Institut as a student assistant on 16 September 2024. Her tasks focus primarily on reviewing existing literature on informational sustainability, as well as searching for new information on this topic and the sustainability of digital information processing.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Isfahan, where she graduated with distinction, ranking among the top 5 students in her class. Her academic background has given her a solid foundation in business principles, management, and analytical skills. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Global Change Management at Hochschule für nachhaltige Entwicklung Eberswalde (HNEE), which has further deepened her knowledge in sustainability and global development.

She also works as a student assistant at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), focusing on data analysis and project coordination. Additionally, she worked as a Digital Ambassador at the Digital Innovation and Learning Lab (DILeLa), gaining experience in communication, content creation, and event organization.
