Oliver Kossowski

About
Oliver is a student assistant in the research group “Working with Artificial Intelligence”. He studied Political Science and Sociology at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich and is currently pursuing a degree in Social Sciences at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
Previously, Oliver worked at the Institute for the History and Future of Work (IGZA), in a tech startup, and as part of a Berlin-based design studio. Within the research group, he contributes to case studies on the implementation of AI systems in companies, supports survey-based projects, and has supervised a laboratory experiment on artificial intelligence in production.
His research interests focus on the social and political implications of technology—particularly artificial intelligence—as well as on the transformations of modern societies in the context of climate change and ecological conflicts, especially through the lenses of social theory and political economy.
