Nahima Quetzali Dávalos-Vázquez

Former Research Fellow, Open Research Program

Quetzali is a PhD candidate in Anthropological Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Mexico. She has a degree in Communication Sciences and a Master's in Social Anthropology. Her topics of interest are ethnography and digital culture, women and digital technologies in the Latin American context, and recently the digitization of workspaces.

During her stay at the Weizenbaum Institute, she will work on the project The job quality of working under pressure: experiences on productivity control through Pieces of software in a group of young Mexican remote workers. In this project, she will analyze the link between labour productivity, pressure, and digitization, through the experiences of workers from the Global South employed by companies from the Global North.
