Nafiye Yücedağ
Person
Nafiye Yücedağ has been working since 2011 as a research assistant in the Civil Law chair of Istanbul University Faculty of Law. She holds a Master’s degree in European and International Law from Amsterdam University, which was funded by a MTEC scholarship. In October 2015, she was awarded a PhD in Law from Istanbul University after completing her thesis on “The Buyer's Right to Replacement in Case of Non-Conforming Delivery of Goods under the Turkish Code of Obligations and the CISG”. Her post-doctoral research focuses on data protection issues. She was a junior fellow at the Weizenbaum Institute from 01.07.2019 – 31.08.2022 in the Research Group "Frameworks for Data Markets", where she pursued a research project on Consent as a Justification Ground for the Processing of Consumer Data in Electronic Commerce.
