Monika Brambůrková
About
Monika Brambůrková is a master's student in sociology at the Free University of Berlin. She currently works as a research assistant in the research group “Dynamics of Digital News Communication” at the Weizenbaum Institute. She supports the group in the production and validation of knowledge in the digital age, with a focus on large language models (LLMs) and their use in large-scale literature-based research. Her academic background is in sociology, with a focus on communication in the political sphere, digital media, and inequality. In her research to date, she has examined online discourse surrounding social movements. Beyond her studies, she is interested in the connection between social sciences and technology and investigates how computer-assisted methods can aid in the analysis of discourse and knowledge processes.
