Michel Wicke
About
Michel Wicke is a student research assistant on the ‘Data Donation as Citizen Science’ research project and supports the ‘Dynamics of Digital News Dissemination’ research group at the Weizenbaum Institute. His responsibilities include supporting the Citizen Science Committee, conducting research, and assisting with Data Donation Days and science communication.
He studied political science at the Free University of Berlin and is currently completing a Master’s degree in social sciences at Humboldt University of Berlin. He has gained professional experience in the fields of digital education, social participation, research and communication.
In addition, he has been active as a seminar trainer and board member of an educational association. There, he led workshops, helping young people to understand topics such as democracy, participation and the reflective use of digital media.
