Laurenz Sachenbacher
Person
Laurenz Sachenbacher has been working as a student assistant in the research group "Data, Algorithmic Systems and Ethics" at the Weizenbaum Institute since June 2023. He is studying philosophy of technology in his master's program at the Technische Universität Berlin. He completed his bachelor's degree in cognitive science at University College Maastricht.
In 2020 and 2021, he was a student assistant at the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS). As part of the project "Responsible AI: Normative aspects of the interaction of humans and intelligent systems", he conducted research on socio-political consequences of algorithmic systems, with a special focus on the care sector and supported the organization of an interdisciplinary conference on "Responsible Artificial Intelligence".
