Katharina Heger

Katharina Heger is a research assistant at the Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society. She studied political science and sociology at Mannheim University and Leipzig University and worked as research associate at Leipzig University in both political science and communication science.
Her research focusses on gender inequalities in political participation and representation, and the impact of political norms and attitudes on political engagement. At the Weizenbaum Institute, she conducts research in the Weizenbaum Panel research unit on the interaction and change of civic norms and digital forms of political participation.
