Jungeun Lim

Former Research Fellow

Jungeun Lim is a PhD student in the research group “Analytics & Information Management Lab” at Pohang University of Science and Technology, South Korea. Her research focus is on problem-solving in various industries, with a special emphasis on healthcare. Utilizing data/process mining techniques, she has collaborated with companies in heavy industry, financial, and hospital, improving their workflows. She has published in international journals such as IJMI and JBI, along with presenting at the PODS4H workshop in the ICPM conference.

At the Weizenbaum Institute, she will be researching “Privacy-preserving clinical pathway mining” collaborating with Stephan Fahrenkrog-Petersen, lead of the research group “Security and Transparency of digital Processes”. Her work will investigate the privacy problem of healthcare processes, particularly clinical pathways, which has different and unique properties from other business processes.
