Deoksang Lee

Ehemalige Research Fellow

Deoksang Lee is a PhD student at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in the Republic of Korea. Throughout his life, he has had limited experience working on research projects with foreign students. This opportunity at the Weizenbaum Institute presents itself as a valuable chance for him to gain more exposure to collaborating with international students and broadening his knowledge base.

His primary research focus lies in information systems. Specifically, he has delved into the realm of Blockchain. Additionally, he has had interest in Process Mining, which has led him to collaborate with various companies, including Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Heavy Industry, and POSCO, to implement Process Mining techniques in the manufacturing sector.

In his future endeavours, he aspires to merge Process Mining with a Large Language Model (LLM) to offer comprehensive support to both experts and non-experts when they engage in process analysis. His research title is “ChatPM: a decision support system for process stakeholders using process mining and chat.” In the past, he has gained valuable experience in utilizing deep learning models to provide fashion recommendations for users. Notably, he successfully developed and deployed the recommendation system at Samsung Fashion for production purposes. This prior experience serves as a solid foundation for his future research in the realm of ChatPM.
