Christapor Yacoubian
About
Christapor Yacoubian, MLaw, completed his law studies at the University of Basel in Switzerland in 2021 at the top of his class. Following this, he began his doctoral thesis on the topic of “Liability of the contract debtor in the use of digital systems“ with Prof. Dr. Corinne Widmer Lüchinger, in addition to a research assistantship. In his research project, he is focusing on the question of whether, how and under what conditions the contract debtor is liable for damages caused by technical failure when using digital systems under current law.
From March to May 2023, Christapor Yacoubian will be a Research Fellow at the Weizenbaum Institute, before he will conduct research as a Visiting Scholar with Prof. Dr Herbert Zech at the Humboldt University of Berlin from June to August 2023.
