Anna Aust

Student Assistant

About

Anna Aust is a student assistant at the Weizenbaum Institute in the research group “Digitalization and Networked Security”. Her work focuses on issues at the intersection of digitalization, security, and democratic participation, with a particular interest in the role of state actors and digital infrastructures.

She studied social and economic communication at the Berlin University of the Arts and global media studies at Stockholm University with a focus on social sciences. Previously, she was involved in research on organizational resilience and creativity in a university context.

Anna is also particularly interested in science transfer and is involved in political education. She is one of the editors of the science blog elephant in the lab, where she addresses various topics at the intersection of society and digitalization.
