WJDS Special Issue Dedicated to Joseph Weizenbaum's Work and Thought

A special issue entitled "Fostering Societal Values in Digital Times – Peace, Care, and Tech Regulation" of the peer-reviewed Weizenbaum Journal of the Digital Society, edited on the occasion of the Weizenbaum 100 anniversary, is now available open access.

The new issue compiles a series of articles directly or indirectly related to the work and thought of Joseph Weizenbaum. Contributions center on Weizenbaum as a scientist and his role as a progressive intellectual, encompassing contemporary viewpoints on ethics in digital technology. The issue is part of the Weizenbaum centennial in 2023 and includes contributions by David M. Berry, Joanna Bryson, Christiane Floyd, Bernhard Pörksen, Herbert Zech, and others.
