Call for Papers: Weizenbaum Journal of the Digital Society – Special
To mark the 100th anniversary of Joseph Weizenbaum's birth, the Weizenbaum Journal of the Digital Society (WJDS) will publish a special issue titled "Digitization in War and Peace" in 2023.
The issue will address the role that digitalization plays in conflicts and their resolution or prevention, with particular focus on interdisciplinary contributions on topics such as disinformation on social media, ethical aspects of smart weapons, digital forms of peace activism, or digital security and warning systems.
For this Special Issue, submissions are welcome from all disciplines that address these topics. Abstracts with ideas for papers can be submitted until 15 August 2022 (500 words), full paper submissions are open until 15 November 2022.
