NFDI Science Slam
Join us for an unforgettable evening of science, creativity, and entertainment. Our speakers will slam on research data management to make you laugh, gasp, and think.
NFDI is Germanys National Research Data Infrastructures initiative: Data as a common good for excellent research, organised by the scientific community in Germany.
In cooperation with the Berlin Science Week, NFDI4DS hosts a yearly Science Slam. A science slam explains science in an easy understandable and funny way. The audience is explicitly allowed to laugh, cry, show emotions. The winner slam is voted by the audience. You are very welcome to join the audience to listen and watch our exciting speakers and their presentations.
Up to now, we successfully ran three editions in 2021, 2022, and 2023 with 14 slams from 11 NFDI consortia in total. The event attracted up to 80 participants in-person and up to 200 participants virtually. All previous slams are available on Youtube.
