Leonie Dorn

As communications officer, Leonie Dorn tells the stories behind and around the research going on at the Weizenbaum Institute. Together with the communication team she's working on new storytelling formats for the web, publications and social media and ties the Institute's research projects to the current debates on digital transformation and new technologies.

In the past several years, she's worked as a campaigner and online editor for different civil society organizations. Before joining the Institute in December 2022, she worked for AlgorithmWatch as Senior PR and Campaigns Manager, and before that, as a researcher at TU Berlin, focussing on gender and digital transformation.

Leonie Dorn studied International Development Studies at the University of Vienna and Media Studies at TU Berlin.
