John Zysman, Ph.D.

Former Senior Research Fellow

John Zysman is Professor of Political Science at Berkeley University and founder of the renowned Berkeley Roundtable on the International Economy (BRIE). He is regarded as one of the world's leading experts on the global division of labor and the interplay between technology and political economy. His best-known works include "How Revolutionary Was the Digital Revolution? National Responses, Market Transitions, and Global Technology" and "Manufacturing Matters: The Myth of the Post-Industrial Economy", which he published together with Stephen Cohen in 1987.
