Jan-Willem Marquardt

In 2019 Jan-Willem completed his B.A. in Communication, Culture & Management at the Zeppelin University. Currently he is studying a Master's degree in Communication in Social and Economic Contexts at the Berlin University of the Arts.

Starting from the observation of a prevailing platform capitalism, he examines digital infrastructures with regard to their potential for emancipation - focusing on new forms of organization and design decisions.

Since June 2021 Jan works in the research group "Inequality and Digital Sovereignty" at the Weizenbaum Institute.
