Jakob Simon Scheffler

Simon Scheffler studied Anthropology and Sociology at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, Germany and the Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi, India and is currently enrolled in the MA Social Sciences at the Humboldt University of Berlin. He is a student researcher in the project "Industrial Internet Platforms, Restructuring of Production Networks, and Work in China and Germany" where he is conducting research on the restructuring of production networks through the 'industrial internet'. His studies focus on the future of work, algorithmic management practices, (industrial) platform economics, and the political economy of artificial intelligence.
