Eltje Gajewski

Eltje Gajewski is a research associate and doctoral student at the Institute of Sociology at the University of Duisburg-Essen and researches on the "new green spirit of capitalism" in sustainable startups and companies. For this purpose, she conducts qualitative interviews with founders and ethnomethodological field studies in coworking spaces and incubators.

During her fellowship at the Weizenbaum Institute, she expands her subject-oriented perspective and investigates valorization processes of sustainable products. Here, she examines the demonstrably increasing market share of sustainable products under the question of how norms of valorization of different goods change.
