This cross-sectional format addresses the question of how the increasing use of autonomous or semi-autonomous information technology systems affects the possibilities of individual and collective self-determination.
In the first phase, the members of the cross-sectional format focused on the interdisciplinary understanding of the concept of autonomy, the collection of relevant practical examples and the organization of a lecture series with numerous experts from different disciplines. In the second phase, the results were consolidated and prepared for the presentation to the broader public.
Moreover, the insights from the lecture series were systematized and bundled together with additional material, such as papers, presentations, audio recordings of the lectures and a series of podcast interviews with the invited experts. This material can be found here.
