In February 2026, Viktoria Kraetzig is a fellow in the research group Norm Setting and Decision Processes research group with her research project “Fundamental Rights via Terms and Conditions?”. She will conduct research on digital normative orders through platform terms and conditions under the DSA.

Viktoria Kraetzig studied law at Humboldt University in Berlin. She completed her dissertation and habilitation at Goethe University. During this time, she worked as in-house counsel for Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and later on as a attorney at law in Berlin specializing in intellectual property law.

Her dissertation on “Copyright as Censorship Right” was awarded the GRUR Dissertation Prize. She has completed research stays at the Court of Justice of the European Union (2022), Cambridge University (2023 and 2024) and Luiss University in Rome (2025). In 2026, she will be completing research stays at the EUI in Florence and Cambridge University.
