Miriam Milzner

Miriam Milzner is a research associate in the Methods Lab and the research group “Dynamics of Digital Mobilization” at the Weizenbaum Institute and a doctoral candidate at Freie Universität Berlin. She previously completed her master’s degree in communication and media studies at Freie Universität Berlin.

Her dissertation focuses on the analysis of coordinated disinformation campaigns and the strategic manipulation of public debates on social media. More broadly, her research examines how digital information ecosystems simultaneously shape mobilization processes and manifestations of information disorder. Methodologically, she combines computational approaches with quantitative and qualitative content analysis. As part of the Methods Lab, she supports the Institute’s research groups in developing methodological expertise, designing empirical studies, and conducting data analyses.
