Kaltrina Shala, LL.M., LL.M.

Manager Political Dialogue

As a manager of political dialogue with a focus on commenting on legislative processes, Kaltrina Shala monitores and analyzes digital policy developments and legislative processes at state, federal and EU level.

Kaltrina Shala obtained her Bachelor degrees in Law and German Language and Literature as well her Master degree (LL.M.) in Civil and Property Law from the University of Prishtina. After an exchange semester at the law faculty of the Humboldt University in Berlin, she developed a special interest in German law and subsequently completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the Georg-August University in Göttingen with distinction.

In her dissertation, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ralf Müller-Terpitz at the University of Mannheim, she dealt with the topic of algorithm transparency of intermediaries from an IT-law and media law perspective. Previously, Kaltrina worked as a research fellow at the Chair of Public Law, Law of Economic Regulation and Media at the University of Mannheim and at the Leibniz Institute for Information Infrastructures. In Kosovo, she worked for a non-governmental organization in the field of human rights.
