Dr. Alexander Weiß is a post-doctoral researcher in political science. He received his doctoral degree from Georg-August University, Göttingen, and habilitated at Hamburg University. His research fields are democratic theory, democratic thought beyond the West, and digitalization and democracy. He recently worked in a team on digitalization and liberal democracy at Helmut Schmidt University, Hamburg. During his fellowship at the Weizenbaum Institute, he will work on perception of digital futures in various understandings of democracy.
