Robert Gorwa
Über
Robert Gorwa is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Oxford, and a fellow with the research group 'Digitalisierung und Demokratie.' Gorwa is primarily interested in platform regulation, content moderation, and other transnational digital policy challenges, with recent work on ‘platform governance’ published in Information, Communication & Society, Internet Policy Review, and other journals.
He is affiliated with the Centre for Technology and Global Affairs and Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at Oxford, the Project on Democracy and the Internet at Stanford University, and the Max Bell School of Public Policy at McGill University. He holds a MSc from the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford, and a BA in International Relations from the University of British Columbia, Canada.
He contributes to the Los Angeles Review of Books and has written for Wired UK, the Washington Post, Foreign Affairs, and a host of other popular outlets.
