PhD Winter Retreat: Writing in Focus
This year’s PhD Winter Retreat “Writing in Focus” will offer you the opportunity to focus on your written work (e.g. your dissertation and/or publication), as well as to network with your peers.
About the PhD Winter Retreat
The PhD Retreat is a yearly offer by the Weizenbaum Institute and an integral part of our institute’s support structures for early career researchers. Based on the recent needs assessment and PhD survey, which showed a clear demand for trainings on academic writing and a need for more time to work on your qualification projects, the aim of this year’s retreat is to provide you with a dedicated space to work on your written work – away from everyday demands, in a setting that promotes concentration, reflection, and scholarly exchange.
The retreat will be accompanied by an experienced writing coach who offers one-on-one coaching sessions and professional feedback on your texts. There are a total of 12 coaching sessions, which will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. So don't hesitate and sign up quickly via the registration link below!
Situated in the countryside, Haus Neudorf offers ideal conditions for focused writing and meaningful peer interaction. Meals will be provided, allowing you to focus entirely on your work.
