Sonia is completing her master's in Gender Studies at Humboldt University in Berlin. She is researching the experiences of transgender people in hormone therapy in Germany, with regard to biopoitics and the construction of a normative trans subject. She completed her bachelor's degree at Columbia University in New York. Sonia worked in in the research group "Inequality and Digital Sovereignty" at the Weizenbaum Institute from April 2021 - Jluy 2022.
