Über

Viktoriia is a doctoral researcher in Software Engineering at LUT University, Finland. Her research lies at the intersection of Civic Tech, large language models (LLMs), and data sensemaking. She joined the Weizenbaum Institute as a Fellow in the research group Digitalization, Sustainability, and Participation.
Her work focuses on the use of LLMs by Civic Tech contributors in the process of data sensemaking. She investigates how LLMs are integrated into development practices and explores the motivators and barriers that influence their adoption. Her primary interest is conducting action research that provides practical value and directly supports Civic Tech contributors.
