During her fellowship at the Weizenbaum Institute, Keren worked on her project “The Dynamics of Social Optimism and Pessimism in the Networked Society”, and she examined the relationship between media use and social optimism and pessimism. The project interfaced with several research groups at the institute, including Digital News Dynamics, Dynamics of Digital Mobilization, and Well-being in the Digital World, as well as with the Weizenbaum Panel research unit.
